Slow Experience
Vulture–Alto Bradano

Discovering the landscape step by step

A project created to enhance one of the most distinctive and richly diverse landscapes of Basilicata, through a new network of routes designed and mapped using GIS technology.

The initiative forms part of the PSR Basilicata 2014–2022 – Measure 19 LEADER and is promoted by GAL Lucus Esperienze Rurali, with the aim of developing a structured model of slow, sustainable and inclusive tourism, capable of generating new opportunities for local development and strengthening the role of the area within the field of experiential tourism.

Walking becomes a way of reading the landscape with care and awareness. Thanks to advanced digital mapping, the routes become tools for understanding, designed for families, for people with different levels of ability, and for anyone wishing to experience the area in an authentic way, encouraging broad, accessible and respectful use of the places along the way.

An invitation to travel slowly, listening to nature, culture and local communities: an experience that becomes both storytelling and encounter, guiding visitors step by step through the identity of the Vulture–Alto Bradano area.
