Intermediate Routes

Routes involving up to five hours of walking, with elevation gains of up to 900 metres, designed for hikers with good physical preparation and an adequate level of fitness, capable of tackling longer and more demanding sections than easy routes. The trails are generally well-defined and signposted, but they require some familiarity with hiking and a good ability to manage sustained physical effort.

They are therefore suitable for those with a reasonable level of experience who wish to enjoy a more structured hike while maintaining a good level of safety. From an accessibility perspective, intermediate routes can be completed with a moderate level of difficulty, but they are not suitable for independent use by people with disabilities. Significant elevation changes, uneven surfaces and more demanding sections make these routes inaccessible to wheelchair users, while visually impaired individuals can undertake them only if accompanied and with adequate hiking experience.
